Look, I’m a big fan of the series. I first read Kaguya-Sama: Love is War on the internet via fan translations, and I was instantly hooked. When the announcement came that it was going to have an official english release, I was excited to show my support of the series. Indeed, while I have a slight preference for the fan translations at times, it’s never been so bad that I’d say the official translation was butchering the manga. That being said, someone messed up on this one. I, being a technophile with an iPhone, got the kindle version over the hard copy. The kindle version has what I describe as incredibly glaring errors. One of which is two blocks of color, one blue and one yellow side-by-side. The other is the fact that one of the pages is a screenshot of a pdf file of the page, as in the page is surrounded by a solid inch of white and pinned between two ‘L’ shapes. How this got through editing is beyond me. Did no one do so much as a quick gloss through the book? Were the editors distracted by holiday cheer, or did they just not care? Either way it makes an otherwise fantastic series look bad in an undeserved way, and I, as a fan of the series, am concerned about who is holding onto this great manga.Despite these woes, Vol. 6 is still a worthy buy. Technical foibles aside, the writers are putting in the effort and the humor is on point.PS: I’m adding pictures of how the manga looks on my iPhone with kindle. I have screen capped them in the app and blotted out what I think would spoil those concerned via the default iPhone camera app. Nothing was changed or added aside from those black lines/splotches.

Kaguya-sama's sixth volume was typical for the series, that is to say, delightful. Kaguya goes on a shopping trip with Miyuki's sister, Kei, and Chika and her sister. Naturally, Kaguya wants information on Miyuki by pumping his sister. Miyuki's birthday is upon them, but Kaguya worries the surprise cake she had made is too elaborate. This leads us into a sequence inside Kaguya's head where the aspects of her personality debate it out. It's an interesting coincidence that in Volume 2 of Precarious Woman Executive Miss Black General, the same concept was used, as I consider these series two of the three most outstanding I discovered in 2018 (the third was The Saga of Tanya the Evil). Hayasaka, on a dare, makes her own bid for Miyuki and Kaguya is horrified to realize the guy she wants might fall for her personal assistant/surrogate sister/black ops agent. I would not be surprised if there are other fans who think the Kaguya/Hayasaka interactions are always a highlight in this series. Kaguya-sama continues to be a great series that has yet to have an inferior volume.

Haha this volume is hilarious and the Prez shows his manly side in this volume. I'll leave it up to you to see how Shinomiya handles this side of Prez :3A lot of things go down!Shinomiya has an opportunity! Shinomiya gets on Hayasaka nerve and a deadly battle begins! How will Shirogane survive?!

Great series. Sucks it came like it was used. Page was creased like someone bookmarked were they left off and back was creased pretty bad right down the middle. Oh well that has nothing to do with the fact it is a good series and I’m usually not the rom com type

I thought it was hilarious and it has a good storyline. These are one of those books that you can start smack dab in the middle and still get. As you can see from the title, I thought for these reasons, that it was cool.

The battle is getting fierce as the end of the school year approaches. Firstly, Kaguya has to figure out how to celebrate Shirogane's birthday without making it seem like she cares too much. Obviously she goes overboard first (and then Ai has to bring her down), but the twist in the next chapter as either side tries to make it seem like the other cared a lot was intersting - sometimes I feel Shirogane can barely hold his own when it comes to matching wits against Kaguya's manipulations. Speaking of Ai, she has become frustrated with the lack of progress on Kaguya's behalf, so it was fun to see her try to flirt with Shirogane.Another interesting interaction was between Kaguya and Yu, as she tries to save him from flunking and being held back a year - he initially thinks she is just doing it to torture him, with his 'vision' of the events showing her as a sadistic person, complete with a whip. (I honestly love how he is utterly terrified of her!) Shirogane shows that his enthusiastic nerd side has more game than his regular serious kid facade, as he flusters Kaguya during an Autumnal moon viewing. The end of the school year was being played off seriously as a game changer, but then it fizzled out, which was a shame. I wanted to see how their flirtations would survive in other school settings, too!

The manga itself was as entertaining as the previous volumes, however, as others have mentioned there are glaring errors on locations 143 and 199 of the kindle edition.
